Wild Orange Snack Bites
WHAT I LOVE: These balls of goodness were created because I was attending a function and had to make over 300 of them. Wow wee what a big exercise that was. I started playing with different flavours and textures until this recipe felt like it was what I wanted. They are easy but a little bit messy to make. The almonds and quinoa provide great forms of protein and fats, the dates add a gorgeous sweetness with a little bit of fibre to boot.

You don't need to eat these every day, they are nutritious and great for you but too much of a good thing can become a bad thing. Have one as a morning tea snack with a tea or coffee, or a pick me up before exercise. They last a week in an air tight container in the fridge or can be frozen for up to 3 months.
